October weddings at Mountain House Estate always have this warm, romantic glow to them. The rolling hills, oak trees, and crisp fall air created the perfect atmosphere for Luke and Tatum’s emotional and meaningful celebration.
Luke and Tatum chose to wait until the aisle for their first look, and the anticipation throughout the morning made every moment feel that much more special.
Instead of seeing Tatum, Luke had a sweet first look with the flower girls. Their excitement instantly set the tone for the day.
Shortly after, the couple met for a first touch out on the lawn. They held hands, shared a quiet moment together, and Luke said a short prayer before they separated to prepare for the ceremony. It was calm, emotional, and such a grounding way to start the day.
The ceremony took place up on the hill at Oak Tree Terrace, one of Mountain House Estate’s most scenic spots. As soon as Tatum appeared at the top of the aisle, Luke broke into tears. It was one of the most genuine reactions I’ve seen.
Luke’s dad officiated, adding such a personal and meaningful touch. The couple exchanged beautiful vows, shared communion, and took a moment of silence together before their first kiss as husband and wife.
After the ceremony, we headed back to the oak tree for wedding party photos. Everyone brought great energy, and the setting was perfect for both fun and timeless portraits.
As the sun dipped lower, we moved into sunset portraits with Luke and Tatum. October light at Mountain House Estate is unreal—warm, cinematic, and full of depth. These were some of my favorite moments of the day.
The reception was held on the lawn by the pond, and the setup was beautiful. Guests gathered under string lights, shared heartfelt speeches, and watched Luke and Tatum’s first dance as the evening settled in around them.
Once open dancing began, the party took off. The dance floor never slowed down, and the entire reception felt joyful, relaxed, and full of life.
To end the night, Luke and Tatum had a glow stick sendoff surrounded by their favorite people. Afterwards, we snuck away for one final night photo under the Milky Way. It was the perfect quiet moment to close out an incredible day.
Luke and Tatum’s day was everything a Mountain House Estate wedding should be—emotional, intentional, and beautifully personal from start to finish.
If you’re planning a Mountain House Estate wedding or a Northern California celebration, I’d love to help you document it in a cinematic and honest way that reflects your story.
