Getting Married at San Francisco City Hall

We began the afternoon on the fourth floor of San Francisco City Hall where the light pours in softly and the space feels open and peaceful. Their ceremony took place beneath the tall arched windows and the glow that fills this level always makes everything feel romantic and effortless. With their family gathered around them the moment felt warm personal and incredibly meaningful. The fourth floor is one of the most popular ceremony spots inside City Hall because it offers privacy elegance and some of the best natural light in the entire building.

After the ceremony we explored different areas throughout City Hall for portraits. The grand staircase the long balconies and the tall windows created an amazing variety of looks and every corner seemed to shine in its own way. Once we wrapped up inside everyone climbed onto a private bus and we set off for a full photo adventure through the city.

A Photo Adventure Around San Francisco

San Francisco is famous for its changing scenery and this day showed exactly why. In just a few minutes you can move from architecture to towering columns to cliffs overlooking the ocean. It makes wedding photography feel exciting and effortless.

Palace of Fine Arts

Our first stop was the Palace of Fine Arts. The monumental columns and warm colors always photograph beautifully and the area feels almost like a movie set. If you are planning portraits here you can check visitor information through the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department

Marshall Beach and Golden Gate Views

We ended the afternoon at the cliffs above Marshall Beach with sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge. The wind picked up the light turned golden and the couple embraced every moment. It felt adventurous romantic and completely true to the energy of the city.
